Please cont act cpd25@london.ac.uk with any queries\n\nThe visit is to the Library of Westminster Abbey which is housed in the former dormitory of the medieval monastery\, converted into use as a library at the end of the 16th century . With bookcases installed in 1623 the library can claim to have the oldes t interior of any library in London. The library contains early printed bo oks\, medieval manuscripts and archives\, as well as a modern collection r elating to the history and activities of Westminster Abbey since its found ation in the middle of the 10th century.
