 sulting Anthropologist\, Anodyne Anthropology LLC will be leading an exerc
 ise on using Ethnographic Observations and will then help attendees brains
 torm UX projects.\n\nThree universities\, London South Bank\, City and Wes
 tminster\, will then discuss how their library teams have used UX to make

 rently working at the University of Westminster as an UX and Engagement Co
 ordinator. She has an academic background in Anthropology and has worked a
 cross both the social services sector and the library industry in both Aus
 tralia and the UK. She is actively engaged in projects within the Universi
 ty Library that champion social causes such as the Human Library project a
 nd the library UX team.\n\nSinead Beverland has been working in Academic L
 ibraries for 16 years and is currently UX and Engagement Coordinator at th
 e University of Westminster. Alongside this role she is a writer and indep
 endent film producer who works with a collective of talented creatives to 
 create engaging stories. Her experience as both writer and producer have h
 elped inform her approach to planning and engaging staff and students with
  both UX and Library social media.\n\nTogether\, Sinead and Aimee bring un
 ique and complementary experiences to the UX role along with a strong back
 ground of customer service experience.\n\nAlan Doherty\, Library Site Mana
 ger at London South Bank University for over 10 years – one of the manag
 ers responsible for the Library’s Customer Services Team\, with particul
 ar responsibility for library spaces\; circulation services\; and for the 
 Library’s Collection Management and Staff Development teams.\n\nDewi Gri
 ffin. Working within the library Customer Service team at London South Ban
 k University I have been building my knowledge and experience of developin
 g user experience practices. Prior to this role\, I worked within the Furt
 her Education sector (FE) where I was involved in learner voice activities
  across pre-Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship programmes.\n\nRachel Scott 
 Halls currently works as User Services Manager at City\, University of Lon
 don where she provides operational leadership to staff and oversees the de
 velopment of spaces and services at the Northampton Square Library. Within
  this role Rachel also leads the Library Services’ UX operational group 
 working with staff across the service to involve users in the development 
 of physical and online services and spaces.\n\nVenue:\nThe London Mathemat
 ical Society\n\nCost:\n£200 for members\n£300 for other institutions\nIn
