DESCRIPTION:This workshop is part of the cpd25 Aspects programme\, aimed at
  library staff looking to acquire additional skills and knowledge or staff
  working towards Chartership.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nHard to Reach Library Staff\n
 – how to supervise\, manage and develop staff working outside usual busi
 ness hours (evening\, weekend or night staff)\n\nMany libraries employ sta
 ff to work in teams outside ‘usual’ business hours – in the evening\
 , at weekends and overnight. These staff are often considered to be ‘har
 d to reach’ for managers who are required to supervise\, manage and deve
 lop them.\n\nThis event will provide an insight into the challenges of man
 aging out of hours teams from two experienced library managers and will in
 clude examples of best practice for use within the sector.\n\nThere will a
 lso be an opportunity for networking with other attendees and engagement w
