DESCRIPTION:This workshop is part of the cpd25 Aspects programme\, aimed at
  library staff looking to acquire additional skills and knowledge or staff
  working towards Chartership.\n\n\nDirector's Cut: What’s the plan?\n\nP
 lanning and resourcing are key activities for Directors and their senior m
 anagement teams.\nWhether developing medium term strategies\, bench markin
 g expenditure\, or assessing staff resources\, Directors use a range of ap
 proaches for planning.\n\nRegina Everitt\, Director of Library and Learni
 ng Services at University of East London\, will share her experiences and
  considerations around planning and resourcing.\n\nParticipants will then 
 take on the role of senior managers and advise the Director on the best ap
 proach for scenarios such as budget rationalisation\, staffing models\, an
 d staff skills development.  Participants will be encouraged to challenge
  one another’s and the Director’s rationale.\n\n\nCost\n£50.00 member
 s\n£75.00 for other institutions\n\nCancellations less than one week befo
 re the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘
