 s itself on listening to and implementing the views and opinions of its st
 udents.\n\nThe new library is a case in point. The £46m project was devel
 oped in collaboration with students\, who took part in focus groups to aid
  the planning and construction of the facility. The University is investin
 g £46m in a new state-of-the-art library at the Luton campus.\n\nConstruc
 tion began in January 2014 and the new library opened July 2016.\n\nThe bu
 ilding is the home for the University's library and learning resources cen
 tre and includes:\n\n30% more study spaces than previous building\nBook a 
 PC online facility\nIT Pop Up help\nDigital signage throughout building (w
 all mounted plasma screen)\n300+ bookable PCs plus PCs in ITSuite\n9 level
