DESCRIPTION:This day is aimed at those who are looking to progress in their
  career or change direction and will reflect on the current trends in the 
 market place and the future role of the Librarian. \n\nIn particular the f
 ocus will be on the changing roles of information professionals\, thinking
  creatively about opportunities and skills as well as how to progress in t
 he current economic climate. \n\nThe session will comprise of a variety of
  speakers talking about their own experiences as well as practical tips an
 d exercises to prepare participants for applying for roles. In addition\, 
 there will be advice on progressing in existing roles (including informati
 on about the CILIP Qualifications Framework) and examples from our speaker
 s about how they have done this.\n\nProgramme:\n\n10.00am: Arrival\, regis
