DESCRIPTION:This day is aimed at those who are looking to progress their ca
 reer\, or perhaps change direction and in particular the focus will be on 
 transferable skills.\n\nInformation professionals will talk about their ow
 n experiences working in different sectors and how this has helped them in
  their current roles\, how to find ‘alternative’ careers and how they 
 are using opportunities in the sector\, social media is one example\, to c
 hallenge themselves and develop their careers further.\n\nThere will also 
 be a session on how you can identify your transferable skills to search fo
 r the right job\, how to create a CV/application form and to sell yourself
  at an interview.\n\n* Please note that attendees need to bring a copy of 
 their CV with them on the day - it doesn't have to be completely up to dat
