DESCRIPTION:CILIP Mentoring Workshop Monday 30th January 2006: 9.30am &ndas
 h\; 4.30pm Lee Manuscript Room\, Senate House Library Facilitators: Carol 
 Campbell-Hayes and Margaret Watson CPD25 is pleased to offer a FREE one-da
 y workshop facilitated by two experienced facilitators on the basics of me
 ntoring. During the morning the workshop will cover key mentoring skills a
 nd during the afternoon it will explore how the new CILIP Mentoring Scheme
  will operate in theory and practice. This practical and interactive cours
 e is suitable for all CILIP members who have recently registered as CILIP 
 mentors or are thinking of registering. Do come along and find out more ab
 out mentoring skills and the new CILIP Mentoring Scheme. To make the most 
 of the day\, registered participants are encouraged to undertake a small a
 mount of work before you attend (see separate sheet). CILIP members who ha
 ve previously attended a course on mentoring skills may attend the afterno
 on session only (2.00pm &ndash\; 4.30pm) to explore the elements of the CI
 LIP Mentoring Scheme. Please indicate this afternoon preference when booki
 ng your place. Cost is FREE for CPD25 members. Refreshments will be provid
 ed in the morning and afternoon\, but lunch is not available. An hour is a
 llocated for the lunch break and participants are encouraged to bring thei
 r own packed lunch. Please note that there are limited places available fo
 r this event\, which will be allocated on a first-come-first served basis.
