 best practice in the handling of theses\, especially when that content is 
 transferred to an Open Access environment via the institutional repository
 . Our speakers will cover key considerations for copyright\, data protecti
 on and communication with students.\n\nWith the introduction of the Genera
 l Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May 2018 this event will offer an e
 arly opportunity to see how one leading institution approached data privac
 y and repository content in response to the law changes.\n\nWe will also s
