DESCRIPTION:Librarians are increasingly working with learning technologies\
 , both to support students and to promote information and digital literacy
 . In this fast-moving environment they must acquire technical expertise an
 d keep up with developments in the way teaching and learning is delivered 
 in the digital environment\, and librarians are using these same learning 
 technologies to increase their skills and knowledge. Elizabeth and Leo wil
 l look at how the role of the librarian intersects with learning technolog
 ies\, and how they can be used to support an individual’s continuing pro
 fessional development.\n\nThis workshop is part of the cpd25 Aspects progr
 amme\, aimed at library staff looking to acquire additional skills and kno
 wledge or staff working towards Chartership.\n\nSpeakers:\n\nElizabeth Cha

  members and £68.00 for other institutions.  Light refreshments are incl
 uded in the price.\n\nThis session takes place alongside cpd25 Aspects wor
 kshop ‘The GLAM sector: what we can learn from Galleries\, libraries\, A
 rchives and Museums’.  If an individual books both sessions a 10% disco
 unt will be applied.\n\nCancellations less than one week before the event 
 will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on
  the day\, the full fee will be charged.\n\nThis event is fully subscribed
