 t is five years since the previous cpd25 conference on 24 hour opening\, d
 uring which time 24 hour and longer opening hours have become more common 
 in academic libraries.\n\nAs we take another look at the subject\, LSE ref
 lects on the last seven years\, SOAS tell us why they started and stopped 
 24 hour opening and Kingston have produced a training film about the work 
 involved in keeping the LRCs open 24-hours.  \n\nBreak out groups are plan
 ned to reflect current  topics of concern and the day will end with a pane
