DESCRIPTION:cpd25's programme of ten two-hour workshops is devised primaril
 y to support CILIP Chartership and ACLIP candidates. However\, many of the
  events in the programme are highly relevant to staff working as Library A
 ssistants\, Senior Library Assistants and so on. The events are aimed\, th
 erefore\, at all levels of library staff - who may or may not be seeking C
 ertification or Chartership\, but who wish to further their professional s
 kills and development.\n\nPlaces are available on either the whole series 
 (£160 for cpd25 members\, £240 for external organisations) or for indivi
 dual workshops (£30 for cpd25 members\, £50 otherwise).\n\nThe event ref
 erence number for booking a place on the whole series is TG1/QSALL. Please
  refer to each workshop's individual description for their individual even
 t reference numbers.\n\nSpeaker: Candy Jannetta\, training consultant. \n\
 nAim:\nThis training session offers participants and opportunity to evalua
 te customer care provision in libraries. It covers those aspects of servic
 e which support and maintain a good standard\, both directly and indirectl
 y.\n\nObjectives:\nBy the end of the session\, participants will be able t
 o:\n1. Appreciate why good customer care is essential and how it affects e
 very part of the library service.\n2. Distinguish good\, bad and indiffere
 nt standards of service.\n3. Understand how to train staff for good face-t

 Cancellations less than one week before the event will be charged a 50% ca
