SUMMARY:Development Day for Library Assistants
DESCRIPTION:CPD25 is pleased to offer a full day seminar for library assist
 ants. It is suitable for those without LIS qualifications. \nThree options
  for obtaining non-degree level LIS qualifications while working are cover
 ed: NVQ\, ECDL and CILIP Certification (ACLIP). \nThe morning will include
  group exercises and discussions on identifying skills and using day-to-da
 y opportunities to enhance them\; and in the afternoon there will be talks
  and opportunities for questions and discussion about CILIP certification

 . The cost per half day is £30 for cpd25 members and £45 for other insti
 tutions.\n\nPlease note that there are 25 places available\, which will be
  allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.  Any cancellations made wit
 hin one week of the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee. In the event 
 of a "no show" on the day 100% cancellation charges will apply. \n\n\nTo b
