DESCRIPTION:Following the results of a survey of M25 Directors in 2011\, th
 e Steering Group undertook to organise a leadership development event spec
 ifically aimed at Directors of M25 Consortium libraries.\n\nWe are deligh
 ted to invite you to a challenging and exciting leadership development wor
 kshop that we have organised in partnership with Common Purpose\, an indep
 endent\, international leadership development organisation.\n\nWorking wit
 h Origin Housing\, the workshop will take the form of a “Raid”\, durin
 g which we will work on a real life challenge that Origin Housing is curre
 ntly facing. We will meet and work alongside members of the senior team\, 
 and meet with key stakeholders and service users in order to experience ho
 w complex it can be to lead change and influence and lead colleagues outsi
 de our professional experience.\n\nThe aim of the day in to enable us to 
 “lead beyond authority” through developing our ability to  increase s
 trategic awareness\, build relationships across disciplines and profession
 al boundaries and make change happen where we have no direct authority. Th
 e workshop will be participative and immersive and should generate fresh t
 hinking and stimulate ideas.\n\nCost: £100
