SUMMARY:Disability Round Table Event
DESCRIPTION:The Standards and Legal Frameworks Task Group is planning to or
 ganise a ‘round table’ event for disability reps.  This is partly to d
 isseminate info about some final work that the M25 Disabilities Group did 
 and a new SCONUL publication\, Access for library users with disabilities 
 (http://www.sconul.ac.uk/news/access_guide).  This is a new guide aimed at
  libraries within higher education and has been published as ‘part of a 
 drive to ensure quality of access for disabled students across the UK and 
 Ireland’.  It is hoped that this event will allow CPD25 to gather views 
 and ideas for disability focussed events that could run in 2007/8.\n\nThe 
 event is free of charge and will take place at the Institute of Education 
 (www.ioe.ac.uk) on Thursday 30th August 10-1pm.  Refreshments will be prov
 ided.\nPlease contact the cpd25 administrator to book a place.
