SUMMARY:Focus Group on Developing a Bespoke Library Excellence Framework
DESCRIPTION:Library Excellence Framework\n\n\nThere has been a growing use 
 of commercial customer‑service assessments in academic libraries over th
 e past decade\, offering a way to enhance the student experience with a co
 nsistent\, external review of services and staff development\, and provi
 ding successful universities with a charter mark to show their achievement
 . Yet\, with many institutions under pressure to cut costs\, developing an
  in-house\, bespoke library excellence standard might be more efficient.
  \n\nRecognising that many M25 member libraries are navigating pressures
  to improve efficiency and reduce costs and funded by the M25 Consortium I
 nnovation Fund\, the University of Bedfordshire is developing resources th
 at will benefit the M25 Consortium community. These will include:\n\n 	a t
 emplate Library Excellence Framework\n 	template training slides\n 	templa
 te communications\n\nAll resources will be released under a Creative Commo
 ns licence for local adaptation.\n\nThis Focus Group event provides the M2
 5 Consortium community with the opportunity to contribute to developing a 
 relevant and workable Framework.\n\nAttend the Focus Group\nWe invite coll
 eagues from across M25 Consortium member libraries to join an online focus
  group to discuss the Framework\, give feedback and comment\, and particip
 ate in co‑creation. This collaborative approach will support the contin
 ued evolution of the resource and the sharing of good practice. We welcome
  participants from all library backgrounds.\n\nSession details:\n\n 	Pur
 pose: To gather insights that will shape the development of the framework.
