 brate the successes and diversity of four key cultural organisations and t
 he lessons we can learn from each other\, in terms of service relevance\, 
 modernisation\, professional practices and audience engagement.\n\nThis wo

 king to acquire additional skills and knowledge or those working towards C

 amp\;A\n\n3.30pm Close\n\nSpeakers:\n\nDr. Hannah Ishmael is a lecturer in
  Digital Culture and Race at King's College London and formerly the Collec
 tions and Research Manager at the Black Cultural Archives (BCA) in Brixton
 \, London. She is a qualified archivist with expertise in the preservation
  and dissemination of Black British history. Her research interests lie in
  the intersection of archives\, digital culture\, and social justice\, wit
 h a particular focus on the role of Black-led archives in shaping narrativ
 es of Black communities\n\nGustavo Grandal Montero is an art librarian\, r
 esearcher and editor. He joined Tate as Library Collections and Engagement
  Manager in 2021\, and was previously subject librarian and special collec
 tions curator at University of the Arts London. Trained as an art historia
 n\, his research interests span art documentation and publishing\, particu
 larly artists’ publishing\, and the relations between experimental liter
 ary and visual arts from the 1950s to the 1990s\, with a focus on Concrete
  poetry. He has contributed to a range of academic and professional journa
 ls\, including Artist's Book Yearbook\, Print Quarterly and Blue Notebook\
 , and monographs: Making new worlds: Li Yuan Chia &amp\; friends (Kettle
 ’s Yard\, 2023)\, Dom Sylvester Houédard (Ridinghouse\, 2017)\, The ha
 ndbook of art and design librarianship (Facet\, 2017)\, Please come to the
  show (Occasional Papers\, 2014)\, Notes from the Cosmic Typewriter (Occas
 ional Papers\, 2012). Gustavo is Editor of the Art Libraries Journal (Camb
 ridge University Press) and a doctoral candidate at Central Saint Martins\
 , University of the Arts London. He has curated several exhibitions\, most
  recently ‘Document or artwork?’ at Tate Britain (2022) and ‘Astro-p
 oems and Vertical Group Exercises: Concrete poetry at CSA’ at Chelsea Sp
 ace\, London (2018).\n\nDanny Rees has been involved in library engagement
  for over a decade. He has published articles and chapters on physiognomy 
 and been a guest speaker at Central St Martins and the National Portrait G
 allery. He has also appeared on TV and radio.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nVenue:\nThe Br
