SUMMARY:Making the most of blended working: hybrid teamworking [TG4/Team]
DESCRIPTION:*THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL. NEW BOOKINGS WILL BE ADDED TO A WAITIN
G LIST*\n\nThe ‘new normal’ has brought new problems for teams\, with
people using different resources and differently available. Whilst the hyb
rid model could give the best of both worlds\, it frequently results in th
e worst\, with miscommunication\, mistakes\, work not done and people feel
ing excluded.\n\nWe analyse what is most likely to go wrong\, and use this
to create best practice guidelines for responsibilities/skills\, effectiv
e communication and goodwill within the team to ensure work practices whic
h get the best outcome from this mode of working.\n\nSession Programme:
\n\n Intros: teams and issues\n Talk: Main problem areas\n Group: Con
tact/goodwill/manager\n Chat: Best practice guidelines\n Talk: Basic vid
eo meeting guidelines\n\nAfter intros\, we look at how the two groups are
likely to be feeling about each other\, and the main problems that will ar
ise. This leads into a ‘best practice’ exercise where we look at three
main problem areas (communication\, goodwill and manager responsibilities
/skills) and come up with practical guidelines. After this is debriefed\,
we take a quick look at using video meetings with mixed teams.\n\nAbout th
