DESCRIPTION:This one-day course will enable participants to increase their 
 level of influence within their organisations. It is aimed at managers who
  are already competent communicators\, but who have had little or no train
 ing in influencing. \n\nFacilitated by LEVELheaded\, this is a highly part
 icipative course and those attending will be asked to come ready to work o
 n an upcoming situation where they will need to exert influence over a gro
 up or an individual within their organisation. \n\n* Please note that due 
 to the amount of material to be covered during the day this course will st
 art at 9.30am promptly\, with registration\, tea\, coffee & biscuits avail
 able from 9am *   \n\nThe course will be tailored to participants and a pr
 e-course questionnaire will be issued to everyone taking part to maximise 
 the benefit of the event. \n\nPotential areas covered can include how to:\
 n\n• Define influencing and different levels of influencing\n\n• Set c
 lear goals and identify targets to achieve those goals\n\n• Understand y
 our target’s perspective\n\n• Use the 6 principles of influence to you
 r advantage\n\n• Decide whether to use direct or peripheral\, push or pu
 ll influence in a situation\n\n• Plan an influential change process with
 in your organisation \n\n• Use a range of influencing techniques to exer
 t influence in various situations. \n\nVenue: The Hardy Room at the London

 harged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day\
