 leased to offer a cpd25 seminar on Information Literacy for the Google gen
 eration.  Three speakers have been invited to describe their experiences i
 n this area and to take your questions.  The audience are also invited to 
 share their views at a panel discussion at the end of the afternoon.\n\nTo
 pic being addressed will include:\n\n•	Promoting information literacy\n
 •	Delivering information literacy \n•	Engaging the Google generation\n
 •	Online Virtual Information Assistant (Olivia)\n\nSpeakers:\n\nDebbi Bo
 den (Chair) \nFaculty Team Leader at Imperial College London\n\nDebbi Bode
 n is a Faculty Team Leader at Imperial College London.  Debbi is chair of 
 the Literary Information Literacy Group and lead on the project to create 
 the College’s Online Information Literacy Programme\, Olivia.  She is al
 so Chair and founder of the CILIP CSG Information Literacy Group whose aim
  is to promote information literacy across all sectors.\n\n\nPeter Godwin\
 nAcademic Services Manager\, in Learning & Information Services at London 
 South Bank University\n\nPeter Godwin is Academic Services Manager\, in Le
 arning & Information Services at London South Bank University.  Peter has 
 been a member of the SCONUL ACIL (Advisory Committee for Information Liter
 acy) and is now a member of the new Working Group on Information Literacy.
 \n\n\nKatharine Reedy\nLearning & Teaching Librarian\, Open University Lib
 rary\n\nKatharine Reedy is a Learning & Teaching Librarian at the Open Uni
 versity Library.  Her responsibilities include supporting distance learner
 s and staff in their use of the digital library\, and working with academi
 c course teams to integrate online resources and information literacy into
  the curriculum.
