 n: Being an Information Services Supervisor in HE Today\n\nThis conference
  is aimed at HE Library / Information Services Supervisors in all their gu
 ises– a group that often seems to be excluded from main stream staff dev
 elopment provision. It is designed for delegates who may supervise staff\,
  services or both. The main objective of the conference is to provide the 
 group with a rare networking opportunity\, to advise them directly of the 
 anticipated developments in the academic library world and to provide a fo
 rum to debate and feedback on the issues of the day. Examples of the issue
 s that will be considered include: \n'Future Perfect - what will the libra
 ry look like to the student of 2012?' \nand 'Is there a need for staff aft
 er RFID?'"\n \nAn excellent opportunity for ‘exchange of experience’ w
 ill be provided after lunch\, when the delegates will leave the conference
  centre to visit one of a selection of academic libraries in the central L
 ondon area. \nAs an alternative to the visits Ian Corns will provide a sho

 o share their practical experiences of using "Web2.0" tools and sites to q

 doing anything like this yet\, but really want to when you get back\, here
 's your chance to learn\, to share and to come up with as many ideas as yo
