DESCRIPTION:Please note that this date is currently provisional. \n\ncpd25'
 s programme of ten two-hour workshops is devised primarily to support CILI
 P Chartership and ACLIP candidates. However\, many of the events in the pr
 ogramme are highly relevant to staff working as Library Assistants\, Senio
 r Library Assistants and so on. The events are aimed\, therefore\, at all 
 levels of library staff - who may or may not be seeking Certification or C
 hartership\, but who wish to further their professional skills and develop
 ment.\n\nPlaces are available on either the whole series (£160 for cpd25 
 members\, £240 for external organisations) or for individual workshops (
 £30 for cpd25 members\, £50 otherwise).\n\nThe event reference number fo
 r booking a place on the whole series is TG1/QSALL. Please refer to each w
 orkshop's individual description for their individual event reference numb
 ers.\n\nMarketing your Library Services is becoming an increasingly import
 ant aspect of library work. At some point in your career you will asked to
  be involved in marketing part of your service\, be it a new service devel
 opment or just raising the profile of an underused service. The aim of thi
 s Introduction to Marketing workshop is to give participants an insight in
 to key aspects of marketing within academic libraries. The workshop will b
 e facilitated by Angus Brown from Imperial College who will provide a brie
 f overview of marketing theory along with a case study from Imperial Colle
 ge that the group will be able to discuss. The session will be interactive
  with participants working in small groups on specific marketing plans.\n\
