DESCRIPTION:\n\n&nbsp\;\nWe welcome library leaders to the first of this ye
 ar’s M25 Consortium Leadership Briefings to be held on the afternoon of 
 the 22nd of November\, 1.30-4.00pm\, at the Royal College of Nursing\, 20 
 Cavendish Square\, London\, W1G 0RN.\n\n\n\nIn the current context of fina
 ncial constraint and cuts across much of our member libraries this event w
 ill squarely address that experience. As with our recent event "Failing Fo
 rwards" we will create a safe space (Chatham House rules apply!) to share 
 experience and ideas.\n\n\nProgramme:\nKatie Flanagan\, Group Head of Arch
 ives and Libraries\, Science Museum Group - will speak about a major chang
 e programme and redesign of staffing structures across five sites (includi
 ng a temporary closure)\nRachel Scott Halls\, Director of Library and Arch
 ives\, Buckinghamshire New University - will talk about positioning a new 
 directorate within a university undergoing significant change in leadershi
 p at the same time as making savings\nLibby Homer\, Director of Student an
 d Library Services\, Anglia Ruskin University - will discuss her experienc
 e of a university merger and managing associated change\nTime for question
 s for the panel and an open discussion between attendees.\n&nbsp\;\n\nCost
 :\n\nM25 Consortium members receive one free place per institution for eac
 h Leadership Briefing event. Additional places cost £75\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPle
