 sion.\n\nHow students/adults learn\no	Experiential learning\no	The learnin
 g cycle\no	Learning approaches and styles\no	Situated learning\no	Implicat
 ions for face-to-face and e-learning\no	Formulating learning objectives an
 d outcomes.\nBy the end of the session participants will be able to apply 
 an understanding of learning theories to their approaches to teaching\, ch
 oose appropriate teaching activities to suit different learning styles and
  produce achievable learning objectives and outcomes.\n\nGroup teaching\no
 	Characteristics of groups\no	Considerations for small and large groups\no
 	Considerations for one-off teaching sessions\no	Strategies for engaging a
 nd interacting with learners\no	Face-to-face and e-learning groups.\n\nBy 
 the end of the session participants will be able to choose appropriate ass
 essment criteria for long and short courses\, apply appropriate teaching s
 trategies to suit group size and needs of students\, and utilise their und
 erstanding of learning to develop effective teaching events.\n\nBooking In
 formation:\nFULLY BOOKED\n\nCost for either the morning or afternoon sessi
 on is £50 for CPD25 members\, and £70 for other institutions\, including
  refreshments. \n\nThe cost for both sessions is £70 for members and £11
 0 otherwise\, and includes lunch and refreshments. \n\nPlease note that th
 ere are limited places available for this event. Cancellations less than o
 ne week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the ev
 ent of a ‘no-show’ on the day\, the full fee will be charged.
