 of the cpd25 Aspects programme\, aimed at library staff looking to acquire
  additional skills and knowledge or staff working towards Chartership.\n\n
 Librarians are increasingly working with learning technologies in their in
 stitutions and beyond. As well as acquiring technical expertise\, they mus
 t also keep up with developments in the way teaching and learning is deliv
 ered in the digital environment and find new ways to support students in t
 his rapidly changing world. This session - delivered by a librarian and a 
 learning technologist  - will look at how the role of the librarian can i
 ntersect with learning technologies\, and will survey current initiatives 
 and opportunities in this exciting field.\n\nSpeakers: Elizabeth Charles a
 nd Leo Havemann\, Birkbeck College.\n\nVenue\nBlack Room\, BMA House\, Bri
 tish Medical Association\, Tavistock Square\, WC1H 9JP\n\nCost\n£45 for m
 embers and £68 for other institutions.\n\nThis session takes place alongs
 ide cpd25 Aspects workshop ‘UX’. If an individual books both sessions 
 a 10% discount will be applied.\n\nCancellations less than one week before
  the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no
