 itutions in the UK\, and in particular the difficulties they face in makin
 g best use of library resources and services\, as well as looking at the S
 CONUL guidelines published in May 2008.\n\nAims\n- To identify areas which
  cause problems for international students\n- To understand the different 
 cultural and educational backgrounds of international students and how the
 se affect their use of libraries\n- To discuss ways in which libraries can
  assist international students and how these can be applied to the SCONUL
