 vent cpd25 held in February 2016 on the Copyright Licensing Agency’s (CL
 A) pilot offering.  With effect from 2019\, overseas campus-based student
 s (“OCB’s”) have become an optional add-on to the main CLA HE Licenc
 e.  We will be exploring how OCBs fall within the overall licensing frame
 work and touching on the wider context\, including things to look out for 
 when planning or resourcing courses for overseas campuses or collaborative
  partners.  The session will also offer insights into working with collea
 gues across institutions to achieve the best results in the provision of l
 ibrary and learning resources for these students.\nProgramme:\n10.00 – I

 ne Barranco Garcia studied Library and Information Science at the Universi
 ty of Alcala de Henares in Madrid\, the city where she was born. Irene mov
 ed to London in 2022 where she has lived since and worked always in librar
 ies. Irene is a Chartered librarian with sixteen years of experience worki
 ng in the Higher Education sector and joined the University of Greenwich i
 n 2008 as an Academic Librarian. In November 2015 Irene took up the positi
 on of Collaboration\, Compliance\, and Copyright Manager within the Inform
 ation and Information Services directorate. Her priority is to ensure stud
 ents at partner institutions have the best experience as members of the Un
 iversity. She also has responsibility for ensuring the University meets th
 e requirements of copyright law and licenses in the context of a changing 
 digital environment.\n\nIan Collins: As the Partnerships Librarian I work 
 with UWE Bristol Collaborative Provision Partners\, as well as staff withi
 n UWE Bristol\, to ensure that partner student access to library resources
  and the development of skills to use them is an effective part of our par
 tnership working. I have had a few roles within UWE Bristol Library Servic
 es and continue to involve myself in varied projects.\n\nSarah Brear: Sara
 h has worked for 15 years at CLA\, where she is responsible for account ma
 nagement and development support across the HE\, FE\, and Independent/Inte
 rnational Schools sectors. Prior to joining CLA\, she worked in music publ
 ishing and at the British Library.\n\nCost:\n\n£25.00 members\n£50.00 no
