  Management Centre\n9am to 2pm\n\nWhy carry out a User Survey?\n\nThis hal
 f-day workshop will look at the purposes\, benefits and pitfalls of undert
 aking a user survey. It will include short presentations on in-house\, int
 ermediate and external methodologies such as LibQUAL and a workshop sessio
 n on interpreting results. The morning will conclude with a lunch and an o
 pportunity for informal exchange.\n\nThe event will be led by Chris West\,
  Director of Information Services\, University of Wales Swansea\, who is S
 ecretary of the SCONUL Advisory Committee on Performance Improvement.\n\nV
