  in many respects regarded as a “safe place” and space to “feel at h
 ome” for many students. Alongside the traditional resources\, the librar
 y may replicate the comfort of a modern entertainment hub with cafés\, bi
 g screen areas\, comfy seating with demanding expectations from the patron
 s. In this atmosphere frontline staff may face increasingly difficult anti
 -social behaviour. Drawing on the rich experience of the speakers this wor
 kshop will examine approaches to setting boundaries for behaviour while ma
 intaining a friendly professional environment for learning and teaching su
 pport.\n\nThis workshop would be ideal for front-line library staff\, libr
 ary supervisors and student services staff. Attendees will have a chance t
 o network and share best practice with peers and professionals.\n\n&nbsp\;
