DESCRIPTION:Supporting wellbeing as information professionals has never bee
 n more important. But what does supporting wellbeing actually look like in
  practice? How do we support wellbeing online as well as in person? What i
 s the future of supporting wellbeing and just how much can we do? In this 
 event our speakers will explore potential answers to all of these question

    End\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSpeakers:\n\nAlice Soares graduated in Modern Langua
 ges and has worked in Library Frontline Services\, and a variety of Custom
 er Service roles. In addition to this she coordinated an award-winning chi
 ldren’s Brazilian Portuguese Saturday supplementary school on a voluntar
 y basis for a number of years. She’s currently a Senior Information Assi
 stant at Marylebone Library\, University of Westminster\, London.\n\nJosep
 h Dempster is a Library Assistant at the UCL Institute of Education Librar
 y\, working within their customer services team for four years. Joseph has
  volunteered to be part of UCL’s Wellbeing Champion scheme since 2018 an
 d is also a member of the M25 Task and Finish Group on Wellbeing\, for wh
 ich is he developing an output on library wellbeing champions\n\nHilary Ha
 llas has worked at the Britsh Library for 43 years in many areas so has a 
 wealth of experience and seen fashions come and go. Through her  current 
 role as Continuous Improvement Manager she touches on all departments acro
 ss the Library. Hilary works in the People team and more recently she has 
 found herself helping to improve what they can offer to all their staff to
  help better their mental health and wellbeing.\n\nCost\n£25.00 members\n
