 should attend?\nThis event is aimed at anyone who is involved with\, or in
 terested in\, multi-site academic LIS provision.\n\nBrief for the day:\nRu
 nning a contemporary academic information service is a complicated busines
 s under any circumstances. But the complexities\, costs and constraints se
 em to multiply when you have to provide that service over a number of site
 s. How can multi-site services be managed to best effect? How can the comp
 lexities and constraints be addressed and reduced? And are there positive 
 aspects to multi-site provision which can be capitalised upon?\n\nThis cpd
 25 seminar will explore these issues by means of case studies drawn from f
 our very varied institutions\, with multi-site arrangements in various sta
 ges of maturity. There will also be the chance to exchange experiences and
  ideas with other participants who are grappling with the issues (or seizi
 ng the opportunities!) of multi-site working.\n\nProgramme:\n10.00	Coffee

  from long-established\, research-led university\n \n12.00  	Lunch and opt

  study 3\nKingston University: the view from Customer Services in a univer
 sity with mature multi-site arrangements\n\n14.15	Case study 4\nUniversity
  of the Arts London: the view from a recently constituted\, specialist uni
 versity\n\n15.00	Open forum discussion\, with tea/ coffee\n\n15.30	Depart\
 n\nSpeakers \n\n•	Nicky Kershaw is University Librarian at Anglia Ruskin
  University \n\n•	Elizabeth Chapman is Deputy Director of Library Servic
 es at UCL\n\n•	Graeme Lockheart\, currently Information Specialist (Musi
 c & Classics) at King's College London\, was until recently an Information
  Advisor with the Customer Services Team at Kingston University\n \n•	Ja
 n Conway is Assistant Director (Academic Services)\, Library & Learning Re
 sources\, at the University of the Arts London\n\nBooking Information:\nCo
 st £40 for cpd25 members and £65 for other institutions\, including lunc

  there are limited places available for this event. Cancellations less tha
 n one week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the
