DESCRIPTION:Twitter: @cpd25_M25 #cpd25\n\nLibrary inductions are an importa
 nt part of welcoming students to the university and introducing them to th
 e ways in which the library service can support their learning. New techno
 logies have enabled innovative approaches to the induction process\, allow
 ing for greater interaction between students\, library staff and the libra
 ry itself. Deciding on the best approach to library inductions and ensurin
 g it is engaging and interesting for students is a continual struggle\, pa
 rticularly given constraints on time and budgets.\n\nThis event seeks to c
 over everything from planning to the inductions themselves. Aimed primaril
 y at those delivering library inductions\, it will offer a space to share 
 experiences and learn from peers.\n\nAs well as a session on planning sess
 ions\, the event will features speakers from Anglia Ruskin\, Coventry and 
 Canterbury Christ Church University sharing their induction practices.\n\n
