DESCRIPTION:The aim of the workshop is to build confidence and be able to p
 roduce amazing looking but\, crucially\, effective presentations\, in a va
 riety of styles depending on how important the presentation is and how muc
 h time you have.\n\nEverything in this hands-on training is based on the r
 esearch into multimedia communication\, and how to get your key messages t
 o stay in the minds of your audience: how to make your message stick. No g
 immicks\, just achievable ideas and techniques which work.\n\nWe'll cover 
 the golden rules of creating presentations\, finding amazing images withou
 t breaking copyright laws or spending any money\, and creating PowerPoint 
 Presentations in different styles. We'll also look at interactive quizzing
  tools such as Menti: when and when not to use them\, and how to use them 
 most effectively.\n\nTrainer Biography:\n\nNed Potter is an Academic Liais
 on Librarian and Trainer. He has presented at library events in the UK\, U
 S\, New Zealand\, Australia and South Africa among other places\, and his 
 presentations have been viewed well over 2.5 million times online.\n\nNed 
 has run the presentation skills training at the British Library and the Bo
 dleian Libraries\, as well as for UKeIG and NHS Libraries\, and can be fou
