DESCRIPTION:Michael Martin (Development Officer\, CILIP) will introduce the
  new CILIP framework of qualifications in the light of the introduction of
  Professional Registration in November 2013.\n\nThis event is the first of
  cpd25′s programme of nine two-hour Professional Registration Workshops.
  Full details of the whole series will be advertised shortly but these wil
 l include workshops on Supervisory Skills and Customer Care (January)\, Ma
 rketing and Copyright (February/March)\, Financial Planning (April) and Ma
 naging E-resources (May).\n\nThe series is devised primarily to support ca
 ndidates for professional qualifications. However\, many of the events in 
 the programme are highly relevant to all levels of library staff – who m
 ay or may not be seeking Certification or Chartership\, but who wish to fu
 rther their professional skills and development.\n\nPlaces are available o
 n either the whole series (£200 for cpd25 members\, £300 for external or
 ganisations) or for individual workshops (£50 for cpd25 members\, £75 ot
 herwise).\n\n* At the moment we are only taking bookings for the first wor
 kshop but any delegates from the first workshop who subsequently sign up f
 or the whole series will be offered a discount of £50 (cpd25 members) or
