DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nHow do academic libraries evaluate and ensure the qu
 ality of their services? How can we benchmark our performance against peer
  institutions while maintaining a strong commitment to continuous improvem
 ent and innovation? Our speakers will share a range of initiatives—from 
 feedback-capturing tools like whiteboards\, to TEF Gold achievements\, to 
 strategic approaches in collection management.  With the NSS providing br
 oad institutional feedback\, we’ll explore how academic libraries can mo
 re precisely assess their own impact and ensure the consistent delivery of

 ;\n\nSpeaker biographies:\n\nElizabeth White is the Senior Library Assista
 nt at the Whipple Library in the Department of History and Philosophy of S
 cience at the University of Cambridge. Here\, she enjoys a mixture of dail
 y tasks\, special collections work\, outreach work\, and supports the stud
 y and research needs of the library’s users. She began her career by vol
 unteering in libraries and museums before entering a formal traineeship at
  Trinity College Library in 2023. It was here that she discovered the joy 
 of helping students and collaborating with them to improve their library e
 xperience. One of her first major projects was developing the feedback boa
 rd\, which proved to be a simple but effective way of bridging the gap bet
 ween students and staff. She has also curated two exhibitions and spoken a
 t two library conferences. In her spare time\, Elizabeth is working toward
 s her MA in Library and Information Studies\, after which she will be a fu
 lly accredited librarian.\n\nLeanne Workman is Head of Library Teaching a
 nd Engagement at Royal Holloway\, University of London\, where she leads a
  team dedicated to inclusive\, high-impact academic support and enhancing 
 the student experience. With over a decade of experience in academic libra
 ries\, Leanne specialises in collection management\, relationship manageme
 nt\, and teaching information and digital literacy. In collaboration with 
 fellow team leaders at Royal Holloway\, she has co-developed a strategic a
 pproach to reviewing the physical collection\, balancing curriculum and re
 search alignment\, and ensuring quality and relevance. Leanne is a strong 
 advocate for embedding the library within the broader University learning 
 and research strategy\, championing evidence-based practices. She holds an
  Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and co-chairs the un
 iversity’s Women’s Network\, promoting equity and professional develop
 ment..\n\nLibby Homer is the Director of Student and Library Services at A
 nglia Ruskin University. She was appointed in September 2020\, prior to th
 at she had been the University Librarian since April 2018. Before then\, L
 ibby worked as Director of Library and Learning Services at the University
  of East London. She started her career in acquisitions at the University 
 Of Surrey\, and has worked for Southwark Council and SOAS.\n\nUntil recent
 ly Libby was Co Chair of SCONUL and Co Chair of the JISC Learning Content 
 Expert Group. She is now Co Chair of the JISC Publisher Negotiation Expert
  Group. Libby also mentors Chartership candidates and AURORA participants\
 , as well as act\n\nDave Puplett is Associate Director for Librarians and 
 Academic Enhancement at University of Greenwich\, where he’s worked for 
 just over 10 years. He leads the library services which incorporates acade
 mic skills\, as well as the technology enhanced learning and academic enha
 ncement teams. He’s previously worked at University of Kent\, London Sch
 ool of Economics\, and King’s College London. Dave is Secretary and Trus
 tee of the M25 Libraries Consortium. He is also a Chartered librarian\, Se
 nior Fellow of the HEA\, and Fellow of the CMI.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nI
