DESCRIPTION:Reading lists are a perennial issue in the academic Library. Re
 source lists\, book lists what are they in the first place? How do you asc
 ertain what the academics are recommending to their students and what is t
 he process of the Library finding this out?   Is the Library being bypasse
 d by the process? How do you meet the needs of students and staff in the r
 eading list process?  How do the reading lists systems relate to other lib
 rary and university systems?  \n\nThese and a range of issues will be expl
 ored at this cpd25 event.  Speakers from a number of  institutions will be
  discussing the issues and explaining how they have dealt with them.  \n\n
 Software suppliers from some of the major reading list products will also
