DESCRIPTION:Libraries face continuing challenges to improve services on an 
 ever decreasing budget. Sharing services is one way of making the most eff
 ective use of the resources at our disposal. Three different institutions 
 talk about their experiences\, from sharing electronic resources and space
 \, to sharing practices and experiences.\n\nProgramme: \n\n9.30: Registrat
 ion and coffee\n\n10.00-10.45: Frank Steiner (Marketing Manager\, Universi
 ty of London Computer Centre) and Sarah Sherman (BLE Service Manager) - ta
 lking about the BLE (Bloomsbury Learning Environment). The BLE is made up 
 of a number of shared electronic resources including a learning platform.

 , Information and Learning Services\, University of Worcester) - talking a
 bout the HIVE - a joint project with the local county council to provide a

 ing about SHEDL (Scottish Higher Education Digital Library)\n\n12.30-1.00:

 quare\, London WC1B 4HS.\n\nPlease note that there are limited places avai

 embers and £65 for other institutions.\n\nCancellations less than one wee
 k before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of
  a ‘no-show’ on the day\, the full fee will be charged.
