 owing Me\, Knowing You \n\n2017 is the 10th anniversary of Cpd25’s popu
 lar annual SLA Conference\, which is designed for those who supervise staf
 f\, services or both. This year’s conference is about self-development. 
 We will encourage participants to heighten awareness of themselves and thi
 nk about how they can realise their potential as an individual and also as
  a team member.\n\nOver the course of the day we will help you explore per
 sonal effectiveness and to identify your strengths and weaknesses. Armed w
 ith this knowledge\, what can you do to fill any gaps and develop yourself
  further? What support is available and how do you go about getting it?\n\
 nThis will be a highly participative day with plenty of opportunities for 
 networking\, enabling attendees to share their experiences and best practi
 ce.\n\nOur facilitator will be Mary Foster.  Mary has a background in hum
 an resources and specialises in personal and organisational development. S
 he holds an MA in Guidance and is a qualified Executive Coach\, NLP Practi
 tioner and Workplace Mediator.  She is a Fellow Member of the Institute o
 f Leadership &amp\; Management. Through RKB consultancy\, she is currently
  facilitating Leadership Programmes for King’s College London\, Universi
 ty College London and Royal Holloway University London. She has recently w
 orked with Bodleian libraries delivering change management training. Mary
 ’s specialisms are leadership development\, personal effectiveness\, cha
 nge management and team effectiveness.\n\nWe are delighted that Lambeth Pa
 lace has agreed to host the conference in their impressive Guard Room. Inc
 luded in the day is a tour of the Library\, the Great Hall\, conservation 
 studio and garden (showing the site of the new Library)\, as well as part 
 of the Palace itself.\n\nThis event is open to all\, but would benefit in
