DESCRIPTION:This is a chance to hear about and also see some of the special
  collections from three scientific institutions: The Zoological Society of
  London\, The Royal Botanic Gardens\, Kew and The Royal Society.\n\nOutlin

 an of ZSL (Zoological Society of London) talks about the very varied libra
 ry and art collections that she is responsible for\n\n2.45pm: Lynn Parker\
 , Assistant Illustrations Curator &amp\; Kiri Ross-Jones\, Archivist and R
 ecords Manager (Royal Botanic Gardens\, Kew) talk about their collections 
 of historic photographs of Kew and about the book featuring these that the
 y have co-authored. A selection of photographs will be on view as well as 
 copies of the book itself\n\n3.30pm: Rupert Baker\, Librarian of the Royal
  Society\, talks about the history of the Society and its library collecti
 ons\, with some items on view. There is the possibility of a tour of the l
 ibrary\, dependent on numbers.\n\nVenue: The Library Events Room\, The Roy

 for other institutions.\n\nCancellations less than one week before the eve
 nt will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’
  on the day\, the full fee will be charged.
