DESCRIPTION:Staff Development Officers Discussion Forum I: \nThe Role of St
 aff Development During Organisational Restructuring\n\nSpeakers: Ann Cummi
 ngs (Brunel) and Donald Lickley (KCL)\n\nCPD25 is very pleased to offer an
  afternoon discussion forum on the role of staff development during period
 s of organisational restructuring on Wednesday 24th March 2010. The event 
 will begin with lunch and will be followed by two case studies and a break
 out discussion session.\n\nThe aim of the informal discussion forum is to 
 explore what is expected of Staff Development Officers by both employers a
 nd employees during periods of major organisational restructuring. \n\nThe
  objectives of the afternoon are to:\n\n•	Identify some of the key roles
  and initiatives which staff development will be expected to provide \n•
 	Learn and benefit from the past experience of Staff Development Officers 
 at other libraries \n•	Exchange ideas and experience during the breakout
  session. \n\nThis afternoon seminar will benefit Staff Development Office
 rs and those staff who are involved with programming staff training.\n\nPr
