DESCRIPTION:Learning 2.0 @LJMU - how to engage staff in Web 2.0 activity\n\
 nSpeaker: Leo Appleton\, Head of Business and Planning for Library and Stu
 dent Support at LJMU\n\nCPD25 is very pleased to offer an afternoon worksh
 op that will introduce attendees to a Web 2.0 staff development programme 
 which has recently been developed for staff at Liverpool John Moores Unive
 rsity. \n\nAt LJMU all library staff were asked to take part in an online 
 staff development programme which would both introduce them to some emergi
 ng technologies (i.e. Web 2.0) and provide them with the student experienc
 e by requiring them to interact with the VLE and develop an e-portfolio.\n
 \nLeo Appleton\, Head of Business and Planning for Library and Student Sup
 port at LJMU\, will present the LJMU case study and then invite those atte
 nding to take part in a workshop which will allow discussion and considera
 tion about how delegates might apply Web 2.0 training with their own libra
 ry staff.\n\nThis afternoon seminar will benefit Staff Development Officer
 s and those staff who are involved with programming staff training.\n\nPro
