DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nSooner or later in your career it is likely that you
  will have to supervise or manage other library staff. This workshop is ai
 med at people taking their first steps in staff management\, or who are in
 terested in doing so. Drawing on their own considerable experience\, Aliso
 n Charlesworth and Lucy Royle will cover the basics of supervision and lin
 e management and include sections on emotional intelligence\, dealing with
  performance issues\, managing change and leading small teams.\n\nThis wor
 kshop is part of the cpd25 Aspects programme\, aimed at library staff look
 ing to acquire additional skills and knowledge or those working towards CI
