DESCRIPTION:*REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS NOW CLOSED*\n\nThis event is a
 bout the provision of support for autistic and neurodivergent staff and st
 udents in higher education institutions\, and will consist of speakers fro
 m higher education institutions as well as a speaker from Ambitious about 
 Autism which is the national charity for autistic children and young peopl
 e. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask the speakers que
 stions during the event.\n\nIt will be of interest to any library and info
 rmation professionals who are part of the front line library service team 
 who may provide services to autistic or neurodivergent staff or students\,
  or who have an interest in the provision of services and support for disa

  Caccavone: As Programme Director\, Clare Caccavone has responsibility for
  Ambitious about Autism’s national Training and Consultancy team\, the a
 ward-winning Autism Exchange work experience programme and the national Em
 ploy Autism Programme.\n\nClare began her career in publishing followed by
  leadership roles within further education including HEIs. Clare has devel
 oped a range of training and careers education related programmes for a va
 riety of underrepresented groups through senior roles across student servi
 ces\; careers\, information advice and guidance\; student finance and welf
 are\; student admissions and enrolment\, and marketing and communication.\
 n\nAfter a varied career spanning 15 years within further education\, Clar
 e moved to Ambitious about Autism and has developed a variety of programme
 s and services including Treehouse School sixth form careers development\;
  Learner and Family Engagement\; Youth Participation\; Autism Exchange and
  now oversees the development and implementation of the national Employ Au
 tism Programme.\n\nClare is an experienced leader\, speaker and trainer as
  well as a passionate advocate for diversity\, equity and inclusion everyw
 here.\n\nDaniela de Silva is the Academic Engagement and Development Manag
 er (Accessibility) in the Library and Archive Services at the University o
 f Westminster. Alongside Eleri she co-manages a team of Librarians and Lea
 rning Developers who support twelve schools across four campuses.\n\nDanie
 la is an experienced higher education practitioner with expertise and long
 standing experience in supporting students with neurodiverse conditions su
 ch as dyslexia\, dyspraxia\, ADHD and ASC. In collaboration with CETI (Cen
 tre for Education and Teaching Innovation) at the university of Westminste
 r\, Daniela led on the “Being Westminster: Inclusive Course Design” pr
 oject which has now become essential part of the university Access and Par
 ticipation Plan. Daniela has keen interest in academic professional develo
 pment\, innovative learning and teaching\, inclusive course design and dig
 ital accessibility. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy
  (SFHEA).\n\nEleri Kyffin is the Academic Engagement and Development Manag
 er (Resources) in Library and Archive Services at the University of Westmi
 nster. Alongside Daniela and one other colleague she co-manages a team of 
 Librarians and Learning Developers who support twelve schools across four 
 campuses.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nCost\n£25.00 members\n£50.00 non member institut
