DESCRIPTION:This workshop is aimed at people who have an interest in suppor
 ting students with disabilities. David Clover will examine theoretical way
 s of assessing the current service that you are providing for your disable
 d students by discussing a recent project undertaken at the University of 
 East London and highlighting the changes which were implemented following 
 the project. Ruth Houghton will examine practical ways of supporting disab
 led students from the perspective of a subject librarian with a disability
  support role including a library buddy scheme and working with colleagues
  in other student services.\n\nThis workshop is part of the cpd25 Aspects 
 programme\, aimed at library staff looking to acquire additional skills an
