DESCRIPTION:cpd25 is pleased to offer a one-day seminar on Tuesday\, 22nd J
 une 2010 that aims to explore the practical aspects of dealing with copyri
 ght within a library and information service. \n\nSpeakers: June Hedges\, 
 Peter Williams\, Katie Hambrook\, Rowan Wilson.\n\nThe key objectives of t
 he day are:\n\n• To learn about the practical aspects of running a cours
 e pack/scanning service and of using the CLA licence \n\n• To explore th
 e CLA’s audit process from the point of view of a library and informatio
 n service \n\n• To identify and examine some of the common issues and th
 emes facing staff dealing with copyright \n\n• To learn about the practi
 cal aspects of dealing with images and of using the DACS licence \n\n• T
 o explore some of the issues around recording and distributing lectures an
 d podcasts \n\n• To exchange experience on dealing with copyright within
  a library and information service \n\nThe seminar will draw on the experi
 ence of fellow information professionals who are actively involved in the 
 practical operation and delivery of copyright-related services. Participan
 ts will have the opportunity to explore some of the issues and ideas that 
 arise in the delivery of copyright-related services\, and to exchange expe
