 bringing together the Science Museum’s thriving Research and Public Hist
 ory Department and access to its library and archive collections.\n\nIts a
 im is to increase the use and understanding of the Science Museum’s outs
 tanding collections by academics and the public. It provides a welcoming\,
  contemporary and light-filled environment\, a quiet reading area and open
  shelving for printed material.\n\nThis visit will cover a tour of the Dan
 a Research Centre and Library\, followed by a talk given by the acting Hea
 d of Library and Archives about the history of the Science Museum Library\

 le. Cancellations received less than one week before the event will be cha
 rged a £15 cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day\,
