 the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground\, the MCC Library contains the world
 ’s largest and most comprehensive collection of books and publications d
 edicated to cricket. Spanning over 11\,000 volumes from the latest books a
 nd magazines to rare editions and pamphlets from the game’s earliest day
 s\, the Library is an invaluable resource for authors\, researchers and jo
 urnalists.\n\nThe tour will take visitors behind the scenes of this remark
 able institution\, and includes access to the MCC Archive which houses the
  Club’s own records as well as the Library’s rare books collection. Th
 e visit will also take in the MCC Museum currently showcasing many of the 
 highlights of cricket literature\, as well as perennial favourites such as
  the Ashes urn. Lastly\, the tour will conclude in the ground’s famous P
 avilion.\n\nThis visit is free of charge. Bookings for visits are open to 
 members of the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries only.\n\nPlease note t
 hat there are limited places available for this visit. To reserve a space
  please use our online booking form.\n\nIf\, subsequent to booking a plac
 e on a cpd25 visit\, you find that you are unable to attend\, we ask that 
 you let us know this as soon as possible. Cancellations received less than
  three working days before the event will be charged a £15 cancellation f
 ee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day\, £25 will be charged.
