DESCRIPTION:Situated next to the Pavilion of the historic Lord’s Cricket 
 Ground\, the MCC Library contains the world’s largest and most comprehen
 sive collection of books and publications dedicated to cricket. Spanning o
 ver 11\,000 volumes from the latest books and magazines to rare editions a
 nd pamphlets from the game’s earliest days\, the Library is an invaluabl
 e resource for authors\, researchers and journalists.\n\nThe tour will tak
 e visitors behind the scenes of this remarkable institution\, and includes
  access to the MCC Archive which houses the Club’s own records as well a
 s the Library’s rare books collection. The visit will also take in the M
 CC Museum currently showcasing many of the highlights of cricket literatur
 e\, as well as perennial favourites such as the Ashes urn. Lastly\, the to
 ur will conclude in the ground’s famous Pavilion\, where tea and coffee
