SUMMARY:Visit to BFI Library [TG1v/BFI]
DESCRIPTION:\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe visit will cover the history and development
  of the BFI Reuben Library and its collections\, as well as an overview of
  the services we offer and how we can support students of the moving image
  and other\, related subjects. We will also give a brief introduction to t
 he BFI as an organisation\, its aims and activities particularly its other
  collections – the National Film and Television Archive and Special Coll
 ections and how to access them. There will be a display of selected librar
 y materials and\, if there is time we may be able to offer a tour of the B
 FI Mediatheque across the foyer as well.\n\nAccessibility: There are stair
 s and a wheelchair accessible lift to gain access to the main foyer\, from
  both the Riverfront and Theatre Avenue entrances.\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\nB
 ookings for visits are open to members of the M25 Consortium of Academic L
 ibraries only.\n\n To book a place please use our online booking form for
  M25 Members.\n\nIf subsequent to booking a place on a cpd25 visit you fi
 nd that you are unable to attend\, we ask that you let us know this as soo
 n as possible.\n\nVisits are free of charge but cancellations received les
 s than three working days before the event will be charged a £15 cancella
 tion fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day\, £25 will be charge
 d.\n\nPlease note that advance booking is required\, you may be turned awa
 y on the day if you do not reserve your place in advance.
