Located in southeast London\, our not-for-profit organisation features a gallery presenting ins piring free exhibitions of drawings\, by artists of international standing and emerging promise. We have a unique open access research library\, hol ding one of the largest collections of titles on contemporary drawing in t he world\, and a shop stocking selected books\, drawing materials and arti sts’ editions. Our dynamic learning programme makes contemporary drawing relevant and accessible to our communities\, encouraging self-expression through hands on making\, in our dedicated Community Studio and throughout our local area.\n\n \;\n\n\nAccessibility: Access to the Gallery\, Li brary\, Shop and Toilets are all step free and we have power assisted door s throughout our public spaces. Our staff are available to help with acces sibility around the building where needed. We have accessible toilets with baby changing facilities\, including a wipe clean changing mat.\n\nYou ca n borrow a manual wheelchair from us during your visit free of charge – just ask at reception or contact us in advance if you would like to re serve a wheelchair: rebecca@drawingroom.org.uk\n\nSometimes visitors need to queue while waiting for an event\, for example\, when the exhibition is at capacity. If queuing is not accessible for you\, please speak to a member of staff and we can make alternative arrangements with you.\n\nF ixed seating is located throughout all spaces. Portable folding stools are also available and can be moved between any of our spaces.\n\n \;\n\n \nBookings for visits are free of charge but are open to members of the M2 5 Consortium of Academic Libraries only.\n\nTo book a place\, please use o ur online booking form for M25 Members.\n\nIf subsequent to booking a plac e on a cpd25 visit you find that you are unable to attend\, we ask that y ou let us know this as soon as possible.\n\nCancellations received less th an three working days before the event will be charged a £15 cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day\, £25 will be charged.\n \n \;\n\nPlease note that advance booking is required.
